We have an in-depth understanding of the challenges faced by companies striving to open up and gain access to key information and knowledge assets locked up somewhere inside the organisation. Companies often struggle to provide the right information to customers, at the right time, to the right people, and in the right context that is needed to get the job done. This is also the vital information that customers must have to enable rapid deployment, to reduce support costs, to improve productivity and business efficiency, and to maximise their return on investment (ROI).

We also understand that the delivery of exceptional customer experience (CX), developer experience (DX), and user experience (UX) have all become Critical Success Factors (CSFs) that organisations can no longer ignore, and must now invest in, in order to survive commercially and not lose reputation and market share to competitors. We know that if the required information is not there, or cannot be found, or is inappropriate, then the customer experience is degraded and the value perception quickly diminishes.

Our experience shows that many companies still remain unconvinced by the business case to invest in new methodologies and technologies, such as single-sourcing and component content management (CCM). Often, important informational content is ‘siloed’ (developed and maintained independently on different file or database systems by different departments) and there is very little collaboration between departments on what gets written, published, or distributed.
